I once knew a mermaid. She had long red curly hair and her life and time on land was mercurial. The spirals on her tail and the swirls of the waves were measures of the minutes on Earth as they ticked by.

Mermaid's upper body carved from 15,000 year old ancient mammoth tusk. Red hair colored tusk. From top of wave to tip of tail 2 1/2" all sterling. 18" sterling silver snake chain.

This is one of the world's great mermaids.
